Trainhopper

“Attachment is the root of all suffering.”

After years of riding freight trains across America to outrun tragedy, a young drifter must settle in Durham for a filmmaking project that challenges his freedom and forces him to confront the past he tried to bury. Trainhopper is a hypnotic coming-of-age road film blending documentary realism with poetic storytelling — capturing the beauty and loneliness of a life lived in motion.
