¿Qué es el cine?

“CINEMA IS...”

A series of video essays in which critic Alejandro G. Calvo explores fundamental questions regarding cinematic language, seeking to uncover the value of the image in the present day. Eschewing orthodoxy and academic didacticism, the series aims to understand the significance of cinema through key films and directors. It moves away from conventional criticism to offer an open, evolving reflection on the nature of emotion in the art of film.
