“Über die gerade Linie der Schwulenunterdrückung vom Faschismus bis heute und was Schwule dagegen tun”
In three parts, the filmmakers trace the history of gay men in Germany: first, their persecution under National Socialism and their identification by the pink triangle in concentration camps; then, the ongoing discrimination they faced in West Germany, told through the personal experiences of those affected; and finally, resistance, self-organization, and the emerging gay liberation movement of the 1970s. The film is considered the first cinematic exploration of the pink triangle and its history.
