Player 4Ps

“A love letter to child gamers.”

Jester, an 11-year-old 4Ps beneficiary (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), a national social welfare initiative in the Philippines). He spends his time playing an online game called MVerse at a local Pisonet Shop in their place. What begins as an ordinary game slowly exposes him to an online exploitation scheme disguised as a gaming opportunity. As Jester becomes drawn deeper into the trap, Dan, a Pisonet owner who recently attended a seminar, notices something unusual and takes action. With the scheme eventually exposed and those responsible for the exploitation arrested, Jester later receives counseling and psychosocial support and continues his education through Dan’s help.
