“There are words that only music can express”

Juan Pablo, an eleven-year-old cuatro player from the Andean highlands of Mérida, longs to perform in his town's music contest, defying his grandfather Gustavo, who forces him into farming over music. Rejecting his grandfather's strict control, Juan Pablo fights to defend his passion, hoping his family will finally truly listen to him.
