Matar a un oso

The death of the bear Cachou in the Aran Valley has triggered a criminal investigation—an inquiry of a scale unprecedented in the context of an animal’s death. The suspects are the valley’s own inhabitants, and the valley itself serves as the stage where two worlds collide—the global and the ancestral—and where people of integrity go to great lengths to prevent the mountains from going up in flames.
